Who helps us process your data
When you put personal data into bizdex, Roster, Bavn, signplume or Docplume, rodnet.ai ApS processes it on your behalf under our Data Processing Agreement. The companies below help us with specific parts of that work. This is the agreed list referred to in Clause 7.7(a) and Annex IV of the agreement.
| Sub-processor | What it does for us | Location | Services | Transfer basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen, Germany | Servers, databases, backups and file storage | Germany: Nuremberg (servers), Falkenstein (backups, object storage) | All | Within the EU, no transfer |
| Anthropic PBC, USA | AI keyword suggestions for a selling profile: the profile’s name, description and keywords, and text from the customer’s own public website. No CRM contacts, notes, emails or files are sent. | USA | bizdex | EU Standard Contractual Clauses |
What is not on the list, and why
- Stripe. Stripe handles payments for paid plans. Billing is our own business, where we act as controller, so Stripe does not process your content on your behalf. Where Stripe is the seller of record for a purchase, it processes payment data as an independent controller.
- Your own Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. signplume can read your staff directory from your own Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, write each person’s signature into Gmail if you turn that on, and let your users sign in with their Google or Microsoft account. Its relay hands mail back to your own mail provider. You choose those providers and connect them yourself, so they are your suppliers, not ours.
- Cloudflare and Gandi. They provide DNS and domain registration only. Your data does not pass through them.
- Services we run ourselves. These run on our own servers at Hetzner and are not separate sub-processors:
- our mail server (mail.rodnet.ai)
- our cookieless analytics
- the short in-app feedback question
- our uptime monitoring
- bizdex’s own processing. bizdex also uses Anthropic to classify public company records and to read public documents from Danish authorities. bizdex does that for itself as controller of its public company data, not on behalf of customers.
Changes
We tell you about an intended change on this page and by email to account owners at least 30 days before a new or replacement sub-processor starts. If you object, write to support@rodnet.ai within that period, and we will work with you on a solution. Where no solution is possible, you can end the affected service before the change takes effect.
Changelog
- 2026-10-21: signplume can now also read the staff directory from Microsoft 365, write signatures into Gmail and offer sign-in with Google or Microsoft. All three use your own accounts, so no sub-processor is added.
- 2026-10-21: Resend, Inc. removed. Bavn now sends its email through our own mail server, like the other services.
- 2026-10-21: first published.
